Luggage is simply stored behind the counter in a sort of passageway, not (as I’d hoped) in a locker. When I realised straight after handing it in that I needed to take something out, the member of staff tried to charge me again... However, collection went smoothly in the end.
Gepäck wird einfach hinter dem Tresen in einer Art Durchgang aufbewahrt, nicht (wie erhofft) in einem Schließfach. Als mir direkt nach erfolgreicher Abgabe eingefallen ist, dass ich noch etwas herausnehmen musste, wollte die Angestellte erneut abkassieren... Abholung hat aber am Ende gut geklappt.

Pretty easy storage service, if you want to add an extra bag/backpack on the day, you’d have to book online again. Atocha station area has a massive construction sight, keep that in mind while planning your logistics. Effortless to go to the station after picking up the bags.
